Béatrice Cointreau, a descendant of the founders of Cointreau and Rémy Martin, has carried her family’s spirit of innovation into a global career of her own. Educated at Cornell, INSEAD, and leading institutions in France and California, she built her expertise across law, business, oenology, and perfumery.
Over more than three decades, she has led prestigious Champagne and Cognac houses, earning international recognition for revitalizing heritage brands and pioneering sustainability within the wine and spirits industry. Her leadership extended from France to California, where she founded Admirable Family Vineyards and helped establish the Malibu Coast AVA.
Today, as founder and chair of byBC Ventures, Béatrice invests in and advises ventures spanning luxury, technology, and sustainable innovation. Honored with France’s Légion d’Honneur and Ordre du Mérite Agricole, she continues to advocate for diversity, entrepreneurship, and cross-Atlantic collaboration through her work with global boards and women’s leadership networks.
